Before Yo Gabba Gabba! and The Aquabats took over my calendar, I spent several years as a strategist on a small team that ran record-setting crowdfunding campaigns for Hollywood properties. I worked on audience engagement and fulfillment for Mystery Science Theater 3000 ($5.7M, 48,000 backers), Super Troopers 2 ($4.6M, 43,000 backers) and several others. Total raised across all campaigns topped $11.4M.
I also produced three seasons of behind-the-scenes content for Warner Bros/TruTV’s Tacoma FD, in addition to advising their marketing team on the Broken Lizard fanbase I knew from the Super Troopers campaign.
In 2023-24, I co-created and co-wrote The Cartoon Misadventures of Grumpy Cat, an animated series developed for NBC Universal’s Peacock. I worked with the Grumpy Cat brand, animation studio Six Point Harness and Aubrey Plaza, who voiced the title character and served as EP. We produced a show bible, pilot script, 60-second animation test and full visual development on three main characters. I was lead creative on the visual development and story.
I’ve also consulted at high levels, including Lovesac (CEO communication strategy) and Vanderbilt University (executive OKR implementation).
I write, pitch, coach, and manage. If there’s something to be done, I figure it out.
